BodyInstinct Breakfast Banana Bread/Muffins


From the BodyInstinct 6 week Total Transformation Program! These muffins are yummy yet healthy! Full of whole grains, omega 3’s, protein, reduced sugar and nothing artificial whatsoever!

1/4 cup of butter softened
1/4 cup ground flax meal
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
4 very ripe bananas mashed
1/2 cup of Fage 2% yogurt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (if desired)

*preheat oven to 350
*lightly butter or pan spray pan
*Blend or mix all ingredients together
*pour into prepared pan
Use the following baking times:
One large loaf pan = 45 minutes
One 12 count muffin pan = 20 minutes
Four small loaf pans = 25 minutes
Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
*can also be enjoyed as a snack and can also be frozen to be enjoyed later
